There is a post explaining better what I need :

user must be able to browse the net using something like https://proxyserver/<uri_to_visit>.

the system has to work as if browser is confgured to use a proxy but I don't want to force users to configure proxy parameter.

I'm not an expert but I think there is a need to make a module with lua.]]>

I have already tried setting this up. I have a domain name pointing to my home network. I've set up a server running nginx and configured it using LetsEncrypt issued certificate. I can successfully tap-in my HTTPS address and the nginx server sends my request to my proxied media server.

BUT it never fully loads for some reason. I can see the UI for the media player but it is behind a "grey-out" screen and never ending spinning wheel. Something is not getting loaded.

THE JOB: To try and accomplish what I want with your servers. A simple proxy_pass to a static IP address like Hopefully you have a spare pi laying around that you can install the media server .img to.

It may be the case that the media server build has some sort of "smarts" built into it that is preventing use via a proxy server like nginx. I dunno. If you can accomplish this, then provide me with your setup method.

I have a novice's small budget to work with. Cna discuss further if you think you can help. Thanks!]]>

We have the site running nicely but with a caveat FL Tokens are not expiring and are causing Ocelot 1.0 WCD version to go crazy and spit out the same error in screen as shown in the attached below. What is happening is a user uses a FL token and and soon as the download completes in the client the error in attached below begins in Ocelot screen. For some reason the token is simply not expiring like it should. I'm guessing I may well have a problem with the Nginx Ocelot Conf file.

As a result of this we have disabled FL tokens on the site until such a time we can resolve it.

You may view the conf in the paste

I am looking for someone who can fix an issue that only occurs when I install Engintron’s nginx.
The issue is that the main website (with or without www) does not load and gets stuck in timeout whereas the other subdomains ( or work perfectly fine.
So my guess is that the issue is somehow related to nginx configuration of which I need someone to fix it for me through a TeamViewer or AnyDesk session.
I can pay $20 an hour if you can fix it.

In the case that some help is needed, I'd be glad to know where I can help translate the documentation (at least).
Thanks a lot,

Bonjour !
Merci bien !

Thinking that the problem was the php when i think its the NGINX connection to the PHP. The issue in hand is that trying to migrate an internal website which was on XAMPP to NGINX. I already migrated everything the issue is the connection to the Microsoft database SQL with the ODBC. I already installed all the packages and the php file gives connection. Whats odd is that when i go to the website and enter the username and password it should authenticate with the Microsoft database with it wont. I check the logs and get this

"PHP message: PHP Warning: odbc_connect(): SQL error: [unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]Unable to connect to data source, SQL state S1000 in SQLConnect

I need a custom logging module that logs GET requests returned 200 response according to a few predefined rules.

Summarised example scenario :

On a Nginx reverse proxy application serving following dat files, users A and B randomly starts downloading the files. Suddenly B stops and after some time C starts to download. When all the users disconnected, I need to know the exact number of the downloaded dat files for each user and reflect it to a log file. The key point here is to identfy the unique users behind the NAT/proxy.

It should be professional delivery including comments, clean source code and documents. If you have interest regarding the project, I will share the details. Pls pm me at

I'm a new NGINX user, and love it (mostly) so far.. the problem is converting my old apache rewrite to nginx.. i'm unable to make the following things work and need a hand.

I am using the YII framework with NGINX, and I have the YII bootstrap redirects in place and working.

Issue 1
we have a dev site and live site. i only want our ips to access the dev site. So any unauthorized ip should be directed to the live site, preferrably with a 301 redirect error so the search engines no longer index the dev site.

Issue 2
if i have a path like site/folder or site/folder/ i get a 404 error, for some reason the index.php or the index.html isn't being read at all, even though i have a location directive:

location /folder/ {
if (!-e $request_filename) {
rewrite ^(.*)$ /folder/index.php;

Issue 3
I'd like to redirect /account and /signup pages to https.
